My Friends.... Graduated?!

My Memorial Day weekend was good, much to my surprise. :)

Saturday I went to Kendra's Graduation Open House.
I got her the roses in the picture. :)
I can't believe a lot of my friends are graduated from high school... I feel like a little girl now since they're all in College and I'm not.

After her open house, we went to my Uncle Ken and Aunt Sandy's for supper. It was fun... my cousin-in-law to be was there and we got to meet her. It ended up being kind of a late night.

Sunday I took an hour and a half nap because no one woke me up like I told them too. I was pretty hyper/energetic the rest of the day...which is actually quite rare. I went to Haley's, Joy's and Shelly's open houses with Tess and Ellie.

I ended up going to Ellie's that night.
We went rollerblading, stargazed, watched "Bride Wars" and talked... of course. :) On Monday we just hung out and went on a walk.

Monday night we went to U. Scott and A. Dawn's for supper with the big Schick's. We ended up going to Lindsay's for awhile.

So yeah, it was a good weekend.

I'm ready for last week's weather again. :)

Summer Plans

So I guess this weekend is the "kickoff" into summer.

Yay! So what are my plans this summer?

• Do nothing. Spending all the time I want doing whatever I want. :)
• Spending lots of time at the POOL! I can actually drive this year, so now I won't have to beg my Mom every time we go. :)
• Our vacation in Wisconsin is coming up really fast. We go for a week to a cabin on a lake and it's always fun and relaxing. Call me weird, but I love fishing!
• Adam & I are hoping to go out to Kansas together the end of July/beginning of August for about a week. I love going out there, and I really hope it works out.
• How could I forget.... the 4-H FAIR! I really don't know why I am even in 4-H. I haven't been to a single meeting, and I kind of forget what projects I even signed up for. Anyways... I will probably spend lots of the summer doing my projects. UGH... that's not exactly how I want to spend my summer. So why am I 4-H? Sorry! Onto the next thing...
• We get to go out East now for my cousins wedding in August. Exciting! I just love traveling...
• I will still work 1 or 2 days a week doing book work. It's not all day, thankfully, because that would really cut into my pool time. :)
• And I will still have piano and violin lessons, and teach piano lessons. Except I usually go to the Fritz's to teach and then go swimming. It works out pretty good. :)
• Babysit
• I'm really out of shape when it comes to riding a bike (actually, it's just those big hills...) So I have a summer goal. :) I'm going to ride into town sometime this summer and maybe to Kendra's house...which is only 8 miles. I've ridden to Kendra's before when I was younger. (I can't believe you let me do that, Mom!) So surely I can do it now! (?)
• Last but NOT least I'm going to organize this house. It's been bugging me how these closets and drawers look and I just haven't had the time to organize them. So hopefully this summer......
• Oh yeah, I need to finish up some of my school. In the summer. :P I'll probably only do it like once a week though.

So yeah, that's about it. :)

We celebrated because it's over with, and we went to Monicals with Hyde & Luke and then I got a Chocolate Extreme from DQ.

Delicous.


I think the audtions were worth getting to go eat some of my favorites :)


Now for the waiting part and checking the mailbox 10 times a day...

Totally Randomness

Hello All.



I don't have anything exciting to write about it...but I feel like updating. So we'll see what I happen to type. :)



My weekend wasn't really too exciting. Friday night I had no plans(so rare!). Saturday I didn't have any either, but that evening I babysat for 5 little boys and a 1 little girl... the oldest was 5! It was a little hectic... especially with the dog barking (that was in the house). I couldn't even hear myself talking... so we finally went into one of the rooms and shut the door.


Sunday the Schick's came here for Mother's Day. It was good.
I have pictures that I would post, but my dad went on a business trip this week and had to take our internet card for his laptop. So we're back to dial-up for a week. :P Such a pain!
Sunday was also Luke's 12th Birthday.


More Random's:

Grandma came here on Friday and left today.

My cousin got engaged to someone from Connecticut, so we get to go out there in August. I'm excited. :)

We leave for Wisconsin in 1 month from today. yay!

Our dog is for sale. (I can't wait till we sell her...)

One week

Is all the time I have to get my songs worked out and made perfect.

Next Thursday is my orchestra audtion for the youth symphony. Ahhh, I'm already nervous for them! Probably because my songs are absolutely terrible, and I only have a week left. : Since I'm going to be a Senoir, this is the last chance I have to make into Youth. I'm in the Concert Orchestra now, and it's getting pretty easy for me. So I really want to make it into Youth (which is harder and a whole lot better :)

Oh, did I mention yet how bad I want to make it into the Youth Symphony?

:)

Sometimes I'm like, "who cares if I make it or not, it's just an orchestra..."
But other times that's all I care about.

So we'll see what happens... I should get my letter within a few weeks .... and I will probably post about it the second I get it. :)

Anywho... I've been practicing about 2 hours a day & it seems like my life is revovling around violin stuff these days. So I thought I would post about it. :)
