November Birthday's

Mr. Ernie turned 3 on November 7th.

Starting with old pictures...

He is one ornery, adorable little guy!

Also, Happy Birthday to Jill!!

Sorry I never got to calling you!

I'm really missing Kansas. Hopefully I'll make it out there one of these days!
Hope you had a wonderful day. :)

Blonde & Scary Moments

I'm going to write about some interesting and stupid things that have happened to me lately. :P Most them are driving stories. :)

  • Quite a few weeks ago I hit Adam's(new) car while I was backing out of the garage. Thankfully I was going super slow, and didn't do anything but bend his license plate a bit. I never look while backing out of the garage, but I for sure do now. After Adam's car and my Dad's snowplow, I'm going to make it a habit to look!

  • Sunday night I stayed with Kendra because her family is gone. We were laying in bed chatting, when we saw lights and heard a car drive up the driveway. Kendra thought it might be someone coming to pick up some scrapbooking stuff. But at 11:30 at night? I don't think so. Peeking out the windows, we didn't see anything. So we assumed they had just drove around the circle to see if it was sitting outside for them. But I wanted to make sure, so we went downstairs to peek around. At first we didn't see the car, but then we saw it again -it was driving away. We were crawling around because we didn't want them to see us in the windows. :) We didn't have a chance to see who it was, but boy, did it give us a scare! After the car left, we were sure there was someone or something on the lane. But after viewing it from almost every window possible, we decided there was nothing. Kendra was really glad I was there because she was just going to stay by herself, but I didn't want her to. We finally went back to our beds, with my phone lying right beside me. We still don't know who it was, what they were doing, and why in the world they were sitting by the garage for probably 5 minutes with their vehicle off. Needless to say, we got to bed way too late. :)

  • Almost 2 weeks ago, I was on my way home from ACYF practice and looked in my rear view mirror. What did I see? LIGHTS! My heart just sank, and I got over-- right on Main Street in Washington. I couldn't believe I was getting pulled over for the first time. I was so tired - I wasn't really sure if I was speeding, but I didn't think I was. Thankfully the policeman was super nice and I couldn't do anything but smile and blabber at him after he told me my tail light was out. He just gave me a verbal warning..... Thankgoodness!!! Let's just say I am verrrry careful these days. :)

  • Note to self: Pay attention to where I'm parking at ICC next semester. ;) This morning my mom and I went there to meet with my advisor. When we were done, we could not find the car. We walked and walked around the same lot. In the same WRONG lot. Oh goodness, I can see this happening to me the whole first semester I'm there...

FYI: I really am a pretty good driver. Everyone has their "blonde" or "spacey" moments, right? RIGHT? :)

My Weekend

I used to always post about my weekends, but I haven't in a while.
This is what I did. :)

Friday I babysat during the day and in the evening. My day job for Jamie was really hectic, but my evening job for Heinolds was so easy!

Saturday I went to Peoria twice and Eureka twice. Ughh, I've been doing so much driving lately, I'm soo sick of it! It's not bad when someone's with me, but just me gets really old. Anyways, Saturday morning I had Monster Concert practice in Peoria, then I had more Senior pictures taken in Eureka with the piano. I went home for a bit, then went shopping for an Orchestra dress. I was so glad I finally found one! I've searched everywhere. From shopping, I went straight to babysit for my cousins. They were good, but they didn't like me very well at first. Probably because I haven't been there since July. :)

Sunday I went to a ensembles concert at Richwoods HS. I left my new jacket there... I'm so aggravated with myself. I called the office today to see if they could look for it, but the lady was super grumpy and was like "I don't have time for that!" So I'm hoping someone will turn it into the Lost and Found...

Sunday was also ACYF in Gridley. We ate supper at Fred & Di's first and then went. It was an interesting night, as usual. We always get back super early, so afterwards (since no one was home), I went to Luke & Heidi's. We watched a weird/strange/but kinda good movie.

Last week was super crazy. I think I babysat more than I have the last month. Even though I love to be busy, I'm looking forward to this week which will be a little calmer. So excited to sleep in tomorrow! :)

Hope you all have a great week!

Chicago!

Chicago was fantastic. I wasn't really going to put all my pictures on my blog, but I decided to because it's just easier to tell/explain with pictures. :)

Kendra had to stay home because of college stuff, so it was just us four. Here we are, ready for our adventure! :)

Jamie doing Drivers Ed homework on the way--- meanwhile Heidi made 10 U turns. And almost all of them were illegal. :)

Jenna's a texter.

After finding our hotel(which took forever..)We went to the mall for a bit, then went to supper at Maggiano's. We were all starving... we devoured everything they put in front of us! I'm going to do a restaurant review on it, so I won't go into detail right now. :) But it was AMAZING!

Our waiter asked us why we were there and Heidi told him it was for my birthday.....even though it 2 months ago. So after supper he brought me 4 lemon cookies with a candle.

This is kind of a pathetic picture. But basically this is the only thing we didn't devour because none of us like lemon cookies.

With very full stomachs, we headed back to the motel to go hot tubbing!

(Enlarge this picture. The guy in the background is kinda freaky!)

HOT TUB! Which didn't last long.

Hanging out.

We actually got to bed in really good time, but you'd never know it by the way Jamie didn't want to get up the next morning!

She decided she was going to skip breakfast.
I'm not sure why.. but us sisters shared a bed. Wow, it was just like old times. :)

hhmmm- Waffles!

Enlarge this picture, ignore me, and look at the ladies in the background.Their were 50-60 yr old ladies wearing tiara's and such at breakfast. Hyde said it looked like they were playing "Pretty Pretty Princess." So funny...

Since Jaim skipped breakfast, we brought it up to the room for her.

Then it was time to pack up and leave. I'm not sure why Jenna looks so excited here..

We were seriously all zombies shopping. At least I was for the first half.

Lunch @ A&W

Ready to leave. It looks like we have a lot of bags, but we really didn't get that much. I didn't anyways. :(

Before leaving, Jamie and I had to get our Cinnabons...

Heidi had to get her caffeine and Jenna got her pretzel and cheese.

We got home at 7.

That's THE END. It was a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Hyde, for the best present ever! :)

Birthday 4 Uncle John!

Uncle John's BIG 60 was on Saturday!

So HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, UNCLE JOHN!!

Some oldies my mom and I found. :)

I realized while looking for pictures, that I definitely need to take more of you!!

Thanks for always letting me eat supper with you guys! :)
Hope you had a great day!
