We might get another puppy!!

So right now, I'm sitting on the rocking chair that I hauled into the computer room, wrapped in a blanket and I'm eating peaches(the best thing to eat when you don't feel like eating).
On Sunday Mom & Dad went to a Bed & Breakfast and Luke & I stayed at Phil & Jessica's again. It was fun..I stayed busy doing school, making up obstacle courses for the kids, playing freeze tag, watching Amber type emails that took her an hour each, going fishing,giving piano lessons and ect. ect. We were there for two nights. On Monday night, I started to get chills, and sure enough... I had a fever. So, today I'm still sick and I feel pretty rotten with a pounding headache, cold, the start of a cough, you know... the usual symptons that come with that nasty flu stuff.

Going back a few days...
My weekend was more on Thursday & Friday than Friday & Saturday. On Thursday, I babysat in the morning, went out for lunch for Mom & A. Jeanne's birthdays and then went to Kohls. Thursday night I spent the night at Jenna's and then babysat Evan Friday morning. Jenna took off school at 11, and we took Evan to school, went out to lunch, came home and did schoolwork on the tramp(and layed out, even though I didn't get any sun), and then went babysitting at 4, which was also so much fun.

Oh! Yesterday I got my results from orchestra! I didn't make Youth Symphony, which is no surprise.. but I just really hope that I got a reasonably good chair in Concert.

Tonight is the American Idol finale! I didn't get to watch it last night, but tonight I'm definetly going to! Go David's!

Am I ever glad!

That this past week is over! 1) I'm soo glad my audition is done with! I didn't really do my best, and I didn't do my worst, either. I wasn't even nervous. :)
2)On Sunday I had to play the piano at a wedding reception, and glad I'm done with that too, cuz now I don't have to worry about practicing and/or getting music together.
To celebrate after my audition on Thursday, we went to Culver's. :) Then I got to go to Grandma's and spend the night with Kate. We watched a Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen movie for old times sake. :) They used to pretty much be our idol. On Friday, we spent forever doing the "compare people" thing on facebook. It gets kind of addicting, and it's fun, too. We ran to some places with Gramma, including Goodwill. I really do not like that store, and Katie loves it. But, turns out that I got two skirts and Katie didn't even get anything! :)
Saturday I was the only one home most of the day and got lots done. That night, we had Luke's birthday supper and Luke & Heidi & Gramma came over.
Sunday I was at the reception the whole afternoon, and then that night for Mother's Day, we went to Uncle John & Aunt Jeanne's. Their wasn't many people there, but it was still fun. I got my Mom a Lorie Line CD and the boys & I also got her a hanging basket.
Last night, I was procrastinating on my schoolwork and drew a road for Luke on the driveway w/sidewalk chalk. It has intersections w/stop signs, no passing zones and just about everything. It's very cool. :)

I just posted a post, but I actually wrote that one so long ago, that it doesn't count.
I've been super busy lately with orchestra stuff... that's all I've been doing lately! I had my concert last Sunday at Metamora High School & rehersal on Thursday. My audtions to tryout for next year are this coming Thursday....ahhh...I'm dreading it!! My violin teacher is on maternity leave, so I haven't been having lessons. But, I majorally need help with my songs... So I've been going to other violin teachers. One of them did not do a thing for me, and the other worked miracles with my songs!
Last weekend Mom went out to Lester, Iowa for Aunt Emma's funeral. Dad didn't go, but since he would be at work all day, we went and stayed with Jessica.(not Adam)Thankgoodness.. I don't think I could've put up with the boys for almost 3 days by myself. I think they'd drive me crazy! Wes cracks me up.. He would just randomnly come up to me and give me the biggest, tightest hug. :) We were there from Sunday night until Tuesday evening. We(my family, except Mom) went to Luke & Heidi's for supper on Tuesday night. Great Spaghetti, Hyde!
Wednesday night was a sad night... Brooke White got eliminated from American Idol. She is a wonderful singer,has a beautiful voice,and I'm def. a fan of hers, but I honestly didn't think she would even stay on there for that long.
Wednesday and Thursday I pretty much spent the whole day reading "Not My Will." It is a really good book...but it's pretty sad.
I haven't gone anywhere since Tuesday night except for I went to Wal-Mart and the Library yesterday. :) I never used to be a home body, but I am now!
Last night we watched the movie "Facing the Giants." It is a really good Christian movie. I never would've thought I would like it, but it was really good. Dad was in tears.
I'm not doing anything today, just practicing my violin for an hour, probably cleaning and starting another good book.

It's Spring!

It has been fairly nice out the past couple of days. I'm so excited, it's finally Spring! It's perfect weather for walking/running.
I don't really have much to say tonight. I'm not doing anything this weekend and I'm kind of excited cause I haven't had a weekend like that in a while. It's supposed to be really nice tomorrow, so I think I'll give Missy a bath. :)

Easter Weekend

My weekend was wonderful.
Thursday night I didn't have orchestra because of Spring break!! I babysat for Tarina and her two cute little kids! Adam came with me. 'Twas fun.
Friday morning Laura & John came pretty early. They were here all day and it was fun because I didn't have to do school, so I could just play w/them. They were here until we went to Grandma's that night for the Easter Egg Hunt. How I wish I was still young enough to hunt for candy! :( We went to church, and afterwards I went over to Jenna's & spent the night. We watched "Becoming Jane" but I didn't watch much of it. I fell asleep too fast.
Saturday we took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt that lasted for 60 seconds. Then we went shopping! I actually had some luck... and even got a swimming suit!
Sunday was Easter! Mom never usually gives us kids Easter baskets but she did this year. I got a Lorie Line piano book. YAY! She actually didn't give me the book, just a little card saying I was going to get it. But she ordered it today! Sunday night we went to Uncle Ken & Aunt Sandy's. It was kind of boring until we got an exciting game of Catch Phrase going on. (Yes Heidi & Luke, you missed out!!) It was a very intense game. My team lost all 3 games.
Today Mom & I went to a rehersal of Joshua Bell w/ the Peoria Symphony. It was just the rehersal, so it wasn't offical. But we got in for free thru my orchestra goup. The tickets are $45-$70. We got lucky! And he is an amazing violin player.

Hi again

How you all doing? I've done lots of exciting\fun things since my last post.
But, first here's a birthday!

Traever - March 13th (I think)

Well, Katie was here for a couple weeks. She spent the night at my house one night, and another night we stayed Grandma's. And we got the hang out a lot more than I thought we were going to be able to.

This weekend was the Mennonite Relief Sale. Somehow it just doesn't seem as fun as it used to when I was younger. :) After, Kendra spent the night. But on the way home from Bloomington, it was Adam, Kendra & I in my Dad's truck. So we're getting on interstate and Adam starts taking the wrong ramp(or whatever you call it). I told him he was going to Champaign, not Peoria... but he didn't listen to me. AFTER he took the ramp he goes, "Um, we didn't take the right one." So.. then we were going to take the next exit that came along. When we did, it wasn't really a exit it went to another interstate or something. Anyways.. we ended up in a little town called Shirley and we FINALLY found our way home without calling my Dad for directions! It took us at least twice as long to get home, but maybe I know my way around the interstate stuff better now!

Saturday I didn't do much... but that night I babysat for the Fritz's. Sunday I had A.I.M. It's basically a test on piano.
Sunday night we went to Phil & Jessica's for pizza.

Today I went to the shop to help Dad out for a few hours.
Tonight I watched American Idol. Go Brooke White.
Well, have a great Easter weekend if I don't update before then!
