Kansas & Bio

This past weekend, we went to Kansas to visit Larry and Jill. We left Friday afternoon, with my family (excluding Heidi). No offense to my family or anything, but it’s kinda boring to travel with them. It makes it seem longer. Saturday we sorta slept in, (It’s kinda hard when you’re sleeping in Brenna’s room and she yells for mom early in the morning) and then the guys went to Albany Days while we ran errands or whatever. After, we went to Albany Days too. I guess it’s a big thing in Bern/Sabetha, but my mom and I sure didn’t think so. :)  It might’ve been alright, but it was cold and rainy. So we weren’t there for very long at all. When we came home, it wasn’t nice enough to do anything outside, so I took a nap. When I woke up my aunt and uncle, John and Jeanne were there. That night, we ate supper at about 7, and sat around the table till 9. There is never a dull moment or a boring conversation with Jill there. :) Jill talked a lot about when Heidi was little.... I really wish I was born, and could remember it, cause she sounds like she was quite the child. Very dramatic. Sunday morning, I didn’t feel good at all. So, what did I do? I took oxi-link. It helped, once again and I went to church. We went to Sabetha, and I didn’t know one single person there. After church, we went to the visitation for my Mom’s cousin, Sharon Strahm. In the afternoon, I took a nap, rode the 3-wheeler, and actually read my book. Believe it or not, I’m a very good driver on the 3-wheeler. Even Adam said so, and for Adam to say something like that, you really have to be good at it. :)
Anyways, Monday morning we were going to leave, but since Mom’s cousin died, we stayed for the funeral. Us kids weren’t going to go, but they wanted to leave straight from Sabetha. I watched little kids in the baby room the whole time. Jill said they were my 2nd cousins, but I had never seen them before. I probably have over a hundred 2nd cousins. The way home was long.... Luke was being loud and hyper, so they turned “Hank the Cow Dog” on for the rest of the way home. I think I’m getting used to that or something.... I didn’t mind it as much. Wow, actually liking the listen to “Hank the Cow Dog”.... now that’s a scary thought.
Now I have my days mixed up again. I keep thinking it’s a day earlier. And I’m so behind on my school, cause I didn’t do it in the van. It’s just way too hard to concentrate. I have to do 4 days of Bio...which could take approximately 8 hours. I’m on one of the hardest modules, and I’m not getting it one bit. I have to read it over twice, and it’s taking forever!!
Yesterday I helped Jamie again... the kids weren’t the best yesterday, but the time actually went pretty fast. I took care of the baby a lot, which was probably part of it. Oh, by the way, he’s 5 weeks. I had said earlier he was 3 months.... but he was actually 3 weeks. :) The twin’s birthday was on Thursday, so they had lots of new toys. I think I might actually be getting a little tired of kids...but just a little bit. But of course, I will never get tired of Wes and Laura. :)
So that’s all for now...I need to post something interesting. Any ideas?

Doesn't everybody like listening to Hank the Cow Dog?

So glad you had fun in KS.

I think I would agree on the Albany Days statement.

No, not everyone likes Hank the Cow Dog, but I have to admit it's growing on me. (I do have yet to take them on a trip with me though)

We have over 200 2nd cousins.

I was a lot of fun when I was little. I hope I have a little girl just like me.

Forget Hank the Cow Dog tapes, Louis Lamour is where it's at! :-)

Louis Lamour.....why does that remind of going to Colorado?

Oh yeah, because Mark listened to them the WHOLE 18 HOURS!!

wendi, i think you're addicted to oxi-link

I was going to say the exact same thing! Someone needs to report Wenders to the authorities. She IS addicted to Oxi-Link.. Her newfound affection for Hank the Cow Dog must've been a result of overdosing. Wendi, Wendi, Wendi.

I know I'm addicted to oxi-link. :)

Louis Lamour is so much worse than Hank the Cow Dog.
