Not a real exciting weekend, but any weekend without school is still really great. :)
Friday night we went to U. John & A. Jeanne's and had supper and spent the evening there with Grandma, because that's where she's staying for the time being.
Saturday morning I did some ironing that DESPERATELY needed to be done. I keep telling Grandma that she better hurry up and get moving around so she can do our ironing! She always did it, and the closet has gotten quite full of clothes this summer. My Mom never irons (I'm not sure why...) so it's all up to me, and I can never keep up with it. I really don't mind it, I just never have the time. :) Anyways, enough about ironing.
Saturday afternoon/evening I babysat for 7 hours. I discovered(and should've known) that giving 4 little boys baths is quite the hassle! Even though I was pretty tired afterward, I had fun with the kids.
Sunday night was Uncle Tom & Aunt Carol's annual Schick wiener roast. It was the usual: hotdogs, smores, hot apple cider, hayrack ride, Lynette's AMAZING pasta salad, and being cold. :)
Monday I had two babysitting jobs. I just love babysitting. LOVE IT! I love the kids. I love getting to know the family. And least of all, there's the money. Seriously, like Lindsay said in her blog... I do it and when they hand me the money... it's like, oh! I get paid!? [I'm being a copycat here :D But it really IS true. ]
Oh, GREAT news! You know our big Grandfather Clock in the foyer that just sits there and doesn't even work? Well, Mom moved it this weekend to clean behind it, and afterwards she wound it. Well, it is now working perfectly! It's the strangest thing... it hasn't worked since we've moved in the house we're in now. I've never seen it work, so it's kinda exciting. :)
One last thing:
Is it just our computer or is my blog messed up? It's all totally pink/orange on my computer. Leave a comment and let me know... cuz I'll fix it if it is.
Love you all, and have a great week!

i'm impressed that you iron... i always burn something... my fingers and/or the clothes. :D
your blog looks normal to me.
Lynette's AMAZING pasta salad deserves so much more than just being capitalized.
I'm glad you iron now. That used to be my job when grandma was gone. But now that I'm married, I'm taking after my mother, so I think I should bring my ironing over there. :)
Your blog looks fine to me too.
Can't wait for Friday!
yea, my blog is normal, now.
Hyde- PLEASE do not bring your ironing here. Maybe when mom isn't teaching anyone at home and she has more time. :)
Well before you did the ironing, I was the one who did it...maybe your mom has just never had to do it? I actually love ironing. It is something you can be a perfectionist about.
By the way, it was not cold this year at the cookout! No coat needed.
And your blog is messed up. Looks yellow and navy to me.
Your blog looks normal to me. BTW- Guess you decided not to bring Missy to church to be blessed?
Aunt Sandy
Missy to church? Did I miss something?
Lindsay - can't say I ever remember you doing the ironing...babysitting and lots of dishes, yes!
Aunt Mary
Aunt Sandy- I decided NOT to bring Missy out to Indiana to be blessed. :)
Linds- It was cold at the cookout! I was freeezing on the hayrack ride. (probably cuz I gave Holly my jacket :)
