Right now I'm babysitting Wyatt and Wade. In case you were wondering, they're down for their naps at the moment. :) But it was so cute at lunch today:

Tuesday night I gave my heart to the Lord and started repenting. It was certainly not an easy thing to do, but wow, I feel so peaceful and joyful about it now. :)
I'm so excited to see what happens in my journey with Him, but I know it won't always be easy.

Catastrophe @ Work

My boss Emily, who is also my cousin, left for Japan for two weeks and left me in charge.(For those who don't know, I do my cousins book work for their 5 farms)

The first day without her there I did fine. But yesterday I went to work and the computer would not turn on. We do everything on Quick Books, so the computer is verry important. Anyways, we tried everything and we couldn't get it to work.

So..My aunt took it in this morning and we found out it was struck my lightning. GREAT! This would have to happen while Emily's gone!! :S
The guy helped her pick out a new computer(I hope Emily's satisfied...) and it's on its way and should be here by Tuesday. We just have to put the old hardware thing in somehow(I don't know how it all works..) so we still have all the info.


It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really is... especially when I'm still trying to learn how to do everything! And I'm in charge! I usually have no clue what I'm doing. :)

I feel bad for Emily. She's gonna have a lot of work to do when she gets back! Hopefully I can get it all straightened out though and get the bills paid and payroll worked out before then! :) Wish me luck!!!

Ahhh... Summer at last!

Well, I've been done with school for a week now. I can't believe how few blog posts I've done this semester! I need to catch up on my birthday blogs and everything else that's been going on before I go on my trips. :)

My last final was last Tuesday, and I'm so glad I successfully completed my first semester at ICC. My fall semester won't be so overwhelming now that I've had a little experience with just a couple classes. I'm still dreading next semester because I know school will pretty much be my life. Oh well, I'll enjoy the summer and then deal with it. :)

Last weekend was my Graduation Open House. I thought it was going to be a slim turnout, but there a was a lot of people that came! Our house was definitely a full house. I'll post pictures after I get them uploaded. But thanks so much to everyone who came!! I soo appreciate it.
Well, I guess I've officially graduated now. Do I now call myself a Freshman? Time to start at a new beginning again... :)

I bought a new camera with my graduation money, and I am LOVING it!! Be prepared for lots of pictures. :) I took 25 with my mom's camera at my graduation, but around 60 for Jenna's graduation with my new camera. :)

Well, that's all for now...I'm not really sure what else to write about. I'll write about the rest in pictures.

Happy 50th, Mom!

Oh, goodness this is really late. :\ But better late than never! (btw, I have a ton of birthday blogs to catch up on, so be prepared!:)

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY to MOM!!!! To celebrate we went out for lunch with some friends, and then that evening we went to Monical's for dinner. I tried to make it special, so I hope she enjoyed the day. :)

Ballet Performance

Wow, has it really been two weeks since I updated this thing?

As you know, my orchestra had our performance with the ballet about two weeks ago. It was so much fun. The applause was louder than it's ever been. :)
My conductor likes to do the seating a different way and put the better people along the outside. So, I wasn't with my usual stand partner, and I got to be with Sarah instead! :)

I really wish I could've watched the dancers instead of my music. I was hoping I could get a video of the whole performance, but I'm not sure if I can get yet.

I had quite the fan club come see me (and of course the ballet too :). I loved seeing these girls/ladies!

We went to DQ afterwards for fun. :)

School Update: (Yes, AGAIN)

I feel sooo unmotivated these days. I am EXTREMELY ready for school to done for this semester. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to survive 2 more years of this. :) My mom told me, "This is going to be a looong 2 years." My poor family has to live with the stressed out Wendi. But hopefully it will be better next semester as I won't have as much "high school" activites and events going on.

That's all for now... I really do have a lot of birthday blogs to catch up on. We had a virus on our computer, so I wasn't able to upload the pictures.

I have a huge test on Tuesday(almost like a huge final) and so after that, I will be back to my blog. But for now, I need to do some major studying.

Stuff

It's been a while. I know, I say that every single time I write. :) I am definitely not going to quit this blog, just don't expect as many updates. If you look under my archives, the number of posts per month keeps decreasing. :/ After I get done writing papers for English, the last thing I want to do is write more on my blog.
OK, time to start getting ya'll up to date.


I'll start with school since my life pretty much revolves around it. It's going really well. I just had a test last week in Accounting that was soo hard and I was positive I almost failed it. But, I got an A. :) It totally motivates me when all my hard studying pays off.
I've already signed up for my classes for next Fall. I'm not doing any summer classes because I just want to enjoy the summer. I have a head start anyways by doing classes this Spring.


That takes me to summer. *Sigh* I cannot wait. I'm going to be gone 3 weeks to 3 different places... which I love! We're spending a week in Wisconsin as usual, I'm going to Mexico with our Bible Class, and then I'm going to spend a week at Larry & Jill's in Kansas.
Our family's last two summers have been a little crazy and abnormal, so I'm hoping we can enjoy this one. Swimming is of course on the top of my list. :)


Tonight is my second to last night of Orchestra EVER. :( Even though I've been too busy to enjoy it this semester, I'm still sad it's over. But, it will be super nice to have my Thursday nights free.
So. I'm inviting anyone and everyone to my last two orchestra events.

This Sunday, April 18th we are joining the Peoria Ballet for a concert. The ballet will be on the stage, and our orchestra will be down below the stage. It's at 7pm at the Metamora High School. It should be really neat...

Then, the next Sunday, April 25th is our actual Spring concert. Once again it's at Metamora, but it's at 2pm in the afternoon. Since I am a Senior, I'll be recognized, because it's my last concert ever.
SO, I hope to see some of you there. Don't feel obligated... but I love to see people there that come just for me! :)


OK, time to get my homework done before class.
