Campout at Brooke's

In June, Brooke had a whole bunch of girls over for a campout at her cousins lake.

We went later in the afternoon and swam, canoed, and tipped each other. :)

Shelly found this random deer leg on the grass and was having too much fun scaring people with it.

After finally getting our fire started that we couldn't get started, a storm rolled in. This was Michelle and Brooke's invention to save our fire. Unfortunately, there was too much rain and it still got soaked over time.

We had to cook our supper over the grill because the fire pit was just flooded with water.

After supper it cleared up really well and we played a lot of Ultimate Frisbee.

It was kind of a wet muddy game, but it was super fun.

Julia and I went fishing together in the paddle boat. It was great to hang out with Julia again... she is just too much fun! Too bad we didn't catch anything though.

We stayed up really late talking and singing around the campfire that we got started again. We took the "mule" back to the cabin at about 2am.

We played funny bones and dutch blitz in the cabin until we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore.

These were the only girls who spent the night.

It was kind of a bummer that it was raining when we got up the next morning. So we pretty much had to leave right away.

It was great to see some girls I never get to see and meet new ones too!
